I am focused on developing biochar as a holistic solution to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As Program Director for United Stated Biochar Initiative I develop strategy, lead projects, manage subcontractors, and collaborate with partner companies and organizations. My experience in the biochar space has primarily been related to developing products and markets that use biochar as replacements for other high carbon intensity products. I am also an experienced water resources engineer with experience in green infrastructure, water quality compliance, stormwater treatment system design, and soil science.
