As the Director of Nature-Based Solutions, Jon works on various efforts at the Climate Action Reserve that recognize how natural and working lands can contribute to addressing the climate crisis. Much of his focus is on developing and improving the Reserve’s protocols and forecast methodologies centered on nature-based solutions, ranging from forestry to soil enrichment to biochar. He also develops and maintains technical tools that support the monitoring, reporting, and verification required of carbon projects.
