I'm a research soil scientist with the US Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station. As a part of the Forest and Woodland Ecosystems program, my research focuses on soil carbon and nutrient cycling in natural and disturbed ecosystems, with an emphasis on land practice, sustainable forest productivity, biochar, soil carbon, microbial decomposition, post-wildfire recovery, earth system modelling, and data synthesis.
