I am an Uruguayan agronomist settled in the US, where I specialized in mechanical engineering and renewable technologies.I developed and patented a pyrolysis technology in which, through the thermal decomposition of organic waste at high temperatures and in the absence or limitation of oxygen, it produces Biochar or Biocharcoal. This carbon-rich product retains the original highly porous structure, which holds water and nutrients and houses microorganisms.
