Benjamin Von Wong is a Canadian artist, activist and photographer best known for his environmental art installations and hyper-realist art style. He is a global inspirational speaker and an advocate against ocean plastics. He is also otable for creating several viral social media campaigns, includeing the most funded GoFundMe campaign which raised over $2m USD for Eliza O'Niell, a sufferer of Sanfilippo syndrome. Since 2017, Von Wong has focused his attention on building community around his plastic waste and environmental art installations. In addition to an extensive viral component, his storytelling aims to compel followers to act rather than spectate and not merely be entertained by his stunning campaigns.
