Introducing PCC

Sponsor Spotlight

We’re proud to share a feature from NABC Gold Sponsor PCC. Learn more about the company and what they’re looking forward to at the North American Biochar Conference.

PCC | INTEC Engineering GmbH | Brad Thompson Company (BTC) have formed a strategic alliance to deliver fully integrated, single-source solutions for the biochar industry. Combining world-class expertise in biochar process technology, air pollution control, and waste heat-to-power systems, their team provides complete engineering, system integration, and project execution from concept through commissioning.

Their capabilities include biochar process integration, emissions compliance, thermal oxidizers, air pollution control systems, waste heat recovery, steam generation, and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power systems to maximize energy recovery and plant efficiency. Together, we provide engineered solutions that optimize environmental performance, improve operating economics, and deliver reliable, turnkey systems for the next generation of biochar production facilities.

What is an exciting development you’ve achieved or are working toward?

One of the most exciting developments at Process Combustion Corporation is the expansion of our capabilities to deliver fully integrated, single-source Biochar process solutions. Rather than supplying individual pieces of equipment, we now engineer and integrate the complete thermal and environmental system—from syngas collection and thermal oxidation through the exhaust stack.

Our comprehensive approach includes advanced air pollution control, heat capture and recovery, and heat utilization technologies, enabling customers to maximize both environmental compliance and energy efficiency. Depending on project objectives, recovered energy can be utilized for steam generation, thermal oil or process heat transfer, or waste heat-to-power systems using either Steam Rankine Cycle (SRC) or Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technologies.

This integrated platform provides biochar producers with a single engineering partner responsible for emissions compliance, process optimization, energy recovery, and overall system performance. The result is a safer, more efficient, and more economically attractive facility that transforms waste energy into valuable process heat or electrical power while meeting the industry’s increasingly stringent environmental requirements.

Who are you most looking forward to connecting with at NABC this year?

We are looking forward to connecting with biochar manufacturers, developers, EPC firms, and technology providers who are focused on advancing the next generation of sustainable production facilities. In particular, we are interested in meeting organizations seeking fully integrated post-pyrolysis solutions that maximize environmental performance while creating additional value from their process.

We’re excited to discuss how complete downstream system integration—including syngas treatment, air pollution control, heat recovery, steam generation, process heat utilization, and waste heat-to-power systems—can improve plant efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and significantly enhance project economics. We also welcome conversations with companies exploring opportunities to leverage the environmental and financial benefits associated with biochar production, energy recovery, and carbon reduction initiatives.

What would you like to invite attendees to engage with while at the conference?

If you’re looking to maximize the value of your biochar operation, we invite you to connect with us to discuss fully integrated downstream process solutions. Whether your focus is achieving air pollution control compliance, capturing and utilizing waste heat, generating steam or electrical power, or optimizing overall plant performance, PCC provides the engineering expertise and complete system integration to make it happen.

Visit with our team to explore how a single-source approach to emissions control, heat recovery, waste heat-to-energy, and total system integration can reduce operating costs, improve reliability, simplify project execution, and enhance the overall return on your investment. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your current project, future expansion plans, or technical challenges and identify practical, high-value solutions tailored to your operation.
