Reframing Waste as a Resource

Nick has worked with a wide range of engineering and development projects. His services include grant writing, grant implementation reporting and oversight, opportunity audits assisting businesses to identify cost saving and waste reducing efficiencies, investor pro forma, technology evaluations, feasibility studies, carbon/sustainability accounting and reporting, and permitting/policy and engineering services. He has further worked in engineering specification and design, permitting, construction management, and construction oversight inspections. Nick has especially niche specialty knowledge in food waste, wood waste, composting, biochar, and waste and biomass to energy. 

Nick is also the acting Secretary of MNCC), Vice-Chair of MN Biochar Initiative (MNBI), and a Director of Recycling Association of MN (RAM). He also serves on the MPCA’s current Wood Waste Stakeholders Steering Committee.
